New Tools - Part 1

We recently obtained and calibrated an Instron Universal Tester. Its tensile grips, three-point bending, and ball burst attachment allow us to offer basic mechanical testing for both bars and films. For more information, please contact Kevin or Noah.

Nail polish

With our paper on comparing methods for degree of cure coming out in the Radtech Journal in Dec, it might be good to look at what rheology can tell you about a nail polish. The optimization that goes into this stuff is impressive. It actually works better than Superglue (TM) for keeping a split nail together. People do look at me funny thro.
